"I'd like to volunteer"

In August 2025, I moved to San Francisco in search of a job. Little did I know, I’d soon be working with TED AI.

While networking, I came across someone who had volunteered as a designer in 2024. Curious, I went straight to TED AI’s website to look for a volunteer form — but there wasn’t one. So I took a chance and emailed the enquiries team, asking if there was still any way to volunteer.

I didn’t expect much, but I heard back from the Head of Marketing and Design. Within a week, I was part of the team.

I worked with the event's Marketing and Design team to create digital and on-site experiences that made navigation and engagement delightful for attendees. From website design to event signage, every touchpoint needed to reflect TED's iconic brand while serving diverse attendee needs.
